Reasons why I quit my job
1- The fact that its a mental hospital
2- The fact that i have to work weekends
3- The fact that i can finish my work in half the time my coworker can (which pisses my boss off, dunno why)
4- Being sexually harrased by a 50 year old man
5- man many many many many small reasons...
6- this is a sample of what my coworkers talk about all day :
Man1: Man I wish I was gay
Man 2: why ??
Man 1: It would be so much easier to find a man than to find a women
Man2: Man I love women, i think if i didnt get one ill just become a man whore to get one.
7- This is a Sample of what the patients talk about:
Patient: Im soo sick of being the invisible man and having to save the world
Nurse: dont you like to save the world
Patient: I do but i wish i wasnt invisible, i want the people to see me when i save them
I've been working in this hospital since August 2005 and my last day is october 15 inshaa Allah...
I think one thing all my coworkers agree on, is that there is a huge possibilty to become one of the patients after working here long enough...

Did you take this issue with your boss? I think that should have been the first reason to quit the job..

Looks like that place SUCKS big time... it is good, sister ,that you quit...All the best for your job hunt...
Yes, the harassment needs to be reported and dealt with by management (and a kick in the rear end for the old perv). InshaAllah if you plan on continuing to work, I pray that you find a job that you love with normal people around you :)
I did take action, and this happened a while ago and the guy got fired..so it wasnt the biggest reason why i quit now..
But yeh Alhamdulilah I cant wait until the 15th ...
pray that i can find a job that pays as good as this one with no crazy patients and no perverts...

dont worry about the old man..I took care of it...I took it up to HR and he didnt come to work for a month because they didnt want him to hurt me until they decided on the case..
finally he came one day before working hours for anyone and took all his stuff and we never heard of him again Alhamdulilah...
Alhamdulillah about that old man! Inshallah you will find a better suited job for you. :)Best wishes!
